A major cinematic moment is set to unfold as IPEMIDA: Where Is My Calling?, the much-anticipated spiritual-drama by Ambassador Temitope Omosowon, popularly known as Woli Osole, hits over 30 cinemas across Nigeria starting Friday, May 30, 2025.
Written, produced, and directed by Omosowon, a proud native of Oka Akoko in Ondo State, IPEMIDA has been widely praised for its rich cultural themes, gripping narrative, and powerful performances.
The film explores the complex interplay between divine calling, destiny, and traditional beliefs in modern African society.
The official premiere, held on May 24, was a star-studded affair attended by Nollywood personalities, media executives, and cultural enthusiasts.
Speaking at the event, Woli Osole expressed deep appreciation for the overwhelming support. “Your encouragement and overwhelming show of love reminded me why I started this journey,” he said.
Featuring a blend of Nollywood veterans and rising stars, the film’s cast includes: Ambassador Temitope Omosowon (Woli Osole) as Awayewaserere, Aina Gold as Agba Kamo, Fisayomi Amodemaja Abebi as Tanwa, Kazeem Atinuke (Madam No Network) as Iya Tanwa and Sanuzi Izihaq Apa as Baba Lekan.
Also featured are Otunba Ladi Okunuga, Biola Adekunle, Michael Odunlami, Aramide Lawal, and Princess Adebukola Olaonipekun, among others. With a cast of over 60, including numerous child actors and local talents, the film promises a rich, community-driven cinematic experience.
