Brand News Media Unveils “Wellness Diary” to Drive Year-Round Women’s Health Advocacy

Brand Multimedia Communication Network, BMC Network, publishers of Brand News Media, has officially launched Wellness Diary, a women-focused health initiative aimed at sustaining conversations and action around women’s wellbeing throughout the year.

The initiative, led by journalist and media professional Aderayo Olaiya, is designed to address the growing need for accessible, practical, and continuous health information for women, beyond symbolic observances such as International Women’s Day.

Structured as a three-in-one platform, Wellness Diary integrates content, engagement, and community impact through a multi-channel approach.

The first component, Wellness Diary with Rayo, is a weekly podcast that explores a wide range of health and wellness topics affecting women, children, and families, offering expert insights and practical guidance for everyday living.

The second arm, Wellness Diary Live, is an interactive virtual event series that provides participants with direct access to health experts. The maiden edition, themed “Women’s Wellness in Tough Times: Staying Healthy Amid Challenges,” focuses on smart nutrition for women on a budget.

The third component, The Wellness Summit, is a flagship physical event scheduled to hold later in the year. It will bring together health professionals, advocates, and women from diverse backgrounds to deepen conversations and foster collaboration around women’s health issues.

Speaking on the initiative, Olaiya said it is designed to shift women’s health advocacy from seasonal awareness to sustained impact.

Wellness Diary is about continuity. Women’s health challenges are not limited to a specific period. This initiative ensures that conversations, support, and access to information continue all year round,” she said.

Launched as part of activities marking this year’s International Women’s Day, the initiative reflects BMC Network’s commitment to development-focused journalism and community-driven impact.

With its integrated approach, Wellness Diary aims to empower women with knowledge, create safe spaces for engagement, and build a strong, informed community around health and wellness in Nigeria.
